Melchor Coaching has developed a one-of-a-kind test that evaluates technical ability objectively and accurately. This test includes 13 activities that assess Ball Control, Passing, Dribbling, Heading, and Shooting proficiency. The test takes anywhere between 20-40 minutes to complete.

This test allows players to receive an objective grade level (1 through 5) for each fundamental skill. The results of the test highlight the technical strengths and technical areas that have room for improvement. This allows a comprehensive and objective assessment of a player's technical ability. No more guessing or relying on coaches' opinions/feelings.

To address the areas that need improvement, Melchor Coaching has developed the Melchor Individual Training Curriculum (MITC). MITC offers activities for each fundamental skill that can be practiced by a player with just a ball and a few cones. Coaching Career
Martin Melchor is the Head Coach at Angelina College, One of the top NJCAA soccer programs in the nation. Since his arrival in 2023, Angelina has won a Conference and District Championship and has reached a #5 National Ranking. Before Angelina, Melchor served as the Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Coach at Bowling Green State University (NCAA Division I). During his time at BGSU, the team climbed as high as #25 in the national NCAA D1 rankings. Under his coaching, Joey Akpunonu became a Top 20 MLS Draft Pick with FC Cincinnati, and Brendan Graves was named MAC Goalkeeper of the Year. Prior to his time at Bowling Green State, he was the Recruiting Coordinator for the University of Texas at Tyler (NCAA Division II) Women's Soccer Team.
Playing Career
Melchor is a proud graduate of Jacksonville High School, where he left as the school’s all-time leading goal scorer. He went on to play at Coastal Carolina University, making four consecutive NCAA Division I National Tournament appearances from 2014 to 2017. His team reached the Round of 32 (2014–2016) and advanced to the Sweet 16 in 2017.
